    Default Own a late 90s 32v Cobra?

I'm kinda gaining interest in these. Mostly because I love the sound of an exhaust system on any Mustang with a v8, and because they have a DOHC. What can you 32v guys tell me about the cars? I'm mostly looking at the 97ish bodystyle rather than the first 32vs of the Edge bodystyle, mostly because if I trade for one, with there being so many fewer of those for sale, I don't think my chances are as high.

Anyways, right now I have a 400ish hp 300ZX TT 5 speed. Other performance cars I've had nearly in the same league would be an SC400 and an LT1 Trans Am 6 speed.

There are a few out there. Check craigslist. Personally they are pretty weak for having 305hp but just like everything else they can be bolted up and force feed to make some pretty nasty numbers. They do sound amazing though

I also like the way they look but im pretty bias.

i have an 01 cobra and i love it, the new edge body style have irs, do some research on that if it is something you want or dont want. put a gear and some mild bolt ons and you will be happy, and if not , on3performance has a turbo kit for ya for under 2k.

I have a 98 Bright Atlantic Blue Cobra with 58k miles. They do need some basic mods to make semi-quick, but a 4v motor loves some boost and responds nicely to it. Also headers will see big gains with these cars. With my Vortech that see around 8# of boost I make 430rwhp. FULL exhaust and fuel system too, stock bottom end.

Great cars from what I've heard, especially with the PI bits.
