So i took my 99 civic ex to a mechanic to replace the old y8 with a new y8. The mechanic calls me 3 hours later and says that my aem intake from my old y8 does not fit on the new y8. can anyone tell me how this can happen.

Instead of putting a y8 in there he put a y7 maybe.. Who knows
