    Default Head Gasket Compression Question

I found a company selling a rubber coated copper head gasket for my motor, and it comes in a few different thicknesses. It comes in:

    Compressed Thickness: .032" or .040" or .050" or .064" and .093"

My current compression ratio is 9.5:1, I'd like to lower it to around 9.0:1-9.2:1, How much of a difference do these thicknesses make? And which one would get get close to my goal CR?

Have you tried using these calculators? It might be helpful?

On a side note, I think I saw your car at university's parking deck the other week, really clean!

Should I be more concerned about static CR or effective?

EDIT: I read this, it explained alot.

Thanks man, yeah, I'm the only silver 4th gen at the school, lol. It needs to be washed/detailed. But I'm waiting until the break. I gotta get my new wheels on, jdm headlights, remount my lip, mount the rear lip, and fix a couple little things that are bugging me.
