my first build! sohc

ok so i got me a 2000 civic ex that was boosted when i bought it and it started ticking about 2 weeks ago and so i bought new barings to try to stop the tick put them in and slug a rod in about 5 minutes straight through the block so i bought a stock y8 bottom end from my brother and order a couple of parts and 3 weeks of pieceing stuff together i got it together finally and im putting it in the car tomorrow and cant wait to see what it will do

my setup:
stock head
jg elelbrock intake mani
eagle rods
vitara piston
super 60 turbo
aem wideband
custom manifold
greddy turbo timer
catch can setup
king bearings
micro polished crank
ebay wastegate (which im gonna upgrade)
and soon to be tuned on chrome until i can afford hondata s300
fresh hone
hasting rings
arp head studs and rod bolts
new honda headgasket
new honda oil pump and all gaskets
20psi!
car also has cold ac and power steering
heres a couple of pics i snapped i will take some more and post them up just been super busy trying to get everything together its really hard espically when i work nightshift

huge thanks to justin (catch h22) super great guy i would refer anyone to him for any help he helped me alot since this was my first build and he will be tunning it soon!

Putting it in my car rightnow as we speak will try to update tonight I got some more pics this morning I had to notch the girdel a little more so I could have clearence with the arp rod bolts will have pics up later!

it is in the car and running like a champ! cant wait for break in miles to be up so we can see what she's got!

Yea I know lol 7 to 1 if I'm not mistaken but hey that's just more boooooost ftw I was gonna get some fj rods but I really didn't feel like waiting 2 months to get them but I think I will be fine hopefully so far it runs great! And you got a nice build too I seen your thread

btw i think ur compression is around 7.5.... anyway, im not exactly sure what you mean by "why would i wait on the build"? I assume you meant what all do i need to finish the build?

Waiting on my full race intercooler and piping to come in, and my new turbo. I need to buy new injectors and a catch can setup, and new wheels/tires.

O ok lol yea I wish I could just wait and stack some money up ha every thrusday when I get paid for like the last month all my checks have been going toward my car I mean every penny :'( lol but I got more pics I'm going to upload them later and its got 84 break in miles already and yesterday was the first time I drove it lol

yea the car was auto and it was switched to 5 speed so the whole slave cylinder line is ss braided and im not sure where it came from it came on the car i think it was made not sure thoe BTW: wheels are for trade i hate them!
