    Default Time for a project

Its been a while since I had something to work on, and I think its time to invest in toy. I want to go ahead and make this clear up front, I do not want a Civic, 240sx, or any other car that is common in the "scene" I like cars that are....different. Some of you may know of my old K car that died way too soon...

I'm looking for something quirky and different. I know, my car my choice and all that jazz. I'm just curious to see what people's votes are and hopefully I'll find out about some new cars.

I've seen those on tv.. I don't have credit and not too sure I could afford to finance just yet. They are pretty neat though!

You may be the winner. That car looks so cool....
As for what I'm looking for, I don't really have a specific classification I want. Nothing new, because of previously stated reasons (financing and such). Just something quirky I can toy with as I have the money.

My apologies there QD. You are one pure example of this.

The Omni! I love the way it looks. I'm going to do some research on them. I like the Daytona Shelby as well. Hmm... thank you for giving me something to think about.

I looked on Crazedlist.org for one expecting to find like 3. There are a decent amount for sale, which is good if I want to buy one. I can never find K wagons lol.

Not sure about the aftermarket for the 5's, but I would rock either one of these.
I was looking into the Mazda 5s before I got my cube.

I like the look of the first gens, but how reliable are Isuzu cars? We have owned two Troopers and had bad experiences with both.

Car and driver did a Speed3 swap on the 5 a couple years back. Made some good performance numbers actually.

I believe I saw that article. There was also a MazdaSpeed5 for sale a few weeks ago. Had a huge record of track winnings.

Of course. Its fun for everyone. That is the only Mitsu motor I knew of, and it is also AWD so why not?

On another note, I scoured Crazedlist and couldn't find a single first gen.

A couple other that someone off the site mentioned to me.

The Datsun B210. This one made me wiggle a bit. I'd love to have this car.

Don't get me wrong, I like certain body styles of them, specifically the 64-72 and the new ones.

On another note a buddy of mine has a farm and when I went to play airsoft today I found out they have nearly 20 non-running cars back there. I may end up grabbing one...or three, provided there is a straight and rust free frame. None were super rare or anything, but the one's I picked out were a Datsun 280zx, a Gen2 liftback Celica, and a Dodge Dart.

My thoughts exactly. I thought about a 440 swap, either new or old, and then I thought I would like to be able to afford to eat lol. Muscle ain't cheap baby.

But once its right its damn right. I'd get it, Do some sort of newer engine swap into it like a hemi out of the new chargers or something, 6 speed tranny, some sort of custom interior to make it feel newer, and drop it with 18's in the front and 20's in the back. Hugger orange with the black stripe around the back or Black with a white stripe.
If I did, I'd go 440. I think I am going to go with the Datsun though.
