i say people that complain how others build their cars
People that refer to the scene as a game.
"y0 bro. I'm getting back into the Honda game bro. Come at me."
yea what he said.
I DONT WANT TO SEE BLACK PAINTED HOODS TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THAT IT IS CARBON.
to each his own let them do what ever the hell they want to do to their car .IT'S THEIR CAR NOT YOUR'S
signatures are whack :idb:
Black hoods have been around since the "muscle car days" and they never even thought of carbon fiber.
For 2011, I'd like to see less shit talking and judging of other people's ideas and a greater appreciation for the fact that we're all "Car Guys", no matter how different.
Let's work together.
Help each other, teach each other, learn from each other and and keep pushing the limits to bring this "scene" back to where it once was!
As for the "under 20 crowd", I'm 40 and welcome every chance to help/teach/learn everything I can AND get new ideas and perspectives that these younger guys have to offer.
Just call me DAD!
moderators that don't reply to emails and private messages....
stretched tires are the dumbest shit ive ever seen...
There's a difference between muscle cars and imports. The younger folks of today aren't painting their hoods black to emulate the olden days. They are doing it to make people think it's CF.
That's a pretty unfair and inane request. You're basically saying for everyone to like everyone else's car no matter how they doll it up. Just because people are in the same "hobby," doesn't mean they have to like other people's ideas. And why do people (for the most part) mod their car and post it up or take it to meets? So people can see them and get feedback. Just makes sense to me. Later, QD.

Not at all, QD.
We don't have to like it.
Just appreciate their effort and hard work, without all the shit talking and putting down that we see, way too often.

Yeah, but how often do you see that? It's quite a rarity to see a nicely done car with painted rims. And I wasn't talking about a decent job. I'm talking about everyone that just paints them to be "different" and the rest of the car isn't really all that to look at.
I was actually referring to the part about slammed small cars. That bowed in look looks like shit to me, but an evenly dropped car with the tops of the tires tucked INSIDE the fender looks pretty good. Later, QD.
no more rims that look like that would go on my trailer.
people bashing on other peoples ideas, an opinion is one thing, being disrespectful is another. less mustangs revving their engines next to me. more inviting people i would like to see, just because you have your group doesn't mean you have to hate on other people. like someone said before me, "we are all car guys". i also would like to not have to worry whenever i park that my car will still be there when i get out. o and one more thing i don't want to see is systems and big rims.. and thats it.
