    Default d16y7 boost maybe?

    i had a d16y7 that im thinking about boosting it. should i boost it or swap it? its in a 99 civic hatchback. if i should boost anyone know any good kits or ebay would be fine? im trying to get just a little bit more hp maybe 180ish or 200hp... oh yeah which one will be cheaper swap or boost? help will be rep

    Boost would be a better fun factor, but to do it right isn't cheap.

    boostin single dingle are cheap, even if u do them wrong, another D block goes for $300ish......TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE....and TUNE!!!!!

    can a d16y7 intake manifold be boosted or do i have to changed it to y8 intake manifold?

    i had a little greddy kit on my y7,

    pretty damn fun.
    but after a while you gotta step your boost up.

    build your kit any cast manifold ebay intercooler kit ebay down pipe ebay oil return and feed lines a precision 5031e turbo which is a 50 trim is like $550 new 450 cc rc injectors $250 tial 38mm wastegat $230 and any bov you can find obd1 conversion chipped p28 and get a tune call it a day till you need a new clutch

    my y7 just past the 150k mile mark (90k boosted). daily driven @ 11-12psi (230ish whp 220ish wtq).

    more than happy to take you for a spin.
