There's nothing wrong with throwing up an opinion, though. But there is a tactful way of doing it. I'll walk up to a car at a meet and check it out and I can let the guy know what I don't like about the car without offending the dude. It's all about presentation, not shutting up. There's a big difference in saying, "that wing looks like shit" and "I don't really care for it, but if you do...." There's not a thing wrong with being truthful if you do it with dignity.
