    Default LS6 candidate...Jaguar?

    1997 Jaguar XK8 Coupe - $6950 (Madison GA)

    05 Cadillac CTS-V 5.7L LS6 Engine 6 Speed Trans $5,800

A little race/tuner styling, deep offset staggered wheels with wide body and side exit exhaust, minus the wing and race livery...

    Yeah, I'm mildly retarded.

People used to take XJ6's (I'm pretty sure this is correct) and put 5.7 Chevy engines in them all of the time. There was an issue with the aluminum heads warping and costing too much to repair, so dropping a common 350cu in was a good alternative. It would be a good move for a XK, they had reliability issues from what I've read, a LS6 would be a good solution.
I think about what I'd love to have and what engines would be better all of the time, I tend to always go back to mid-engine Porsches with small Subaru boxer transplants as a dream.
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...

Do it. Save that car. Then sell it to me. That would actually be a dream come true for me.

I love Jaguars, but I hate how unreliable they are and the fact that you can't get them with manual transmissions. This would be an unbelievably cool swap.

I've seen old Series II Jag XJs with Chevrolet 350s in them like Okra's talking about. Good move. Seems like a lot of work for a newer car...but hey, I think it'd make a hell of a machine.
