spectra vs corolla

Lol yeah, i know that comercial... The people from Kia talk about the Corolla in a way that makes the general non-thinking part of the population automatically assume that the Corolla is worse just because it doesnt have the things the Kia does, when in actuality it has things that are probably better all around.

The only reason there isn't a $14k Corolla is because they use quality parts and workmanship, the difference in price will easily be made up in resale, of which Kia has none.

I can't vouch for spectra's but sephia's are awesome. I use to beat my mom's spare car (kia sephia) up all the time when I was like 16. lolol. I also raced a SOHC vtec civic and just did beat it. I have witnesses that were their. haha. Only thing performance wise done to the sephia was a K&N air filter and some plug wires.

My girlfriend had an '01 Sephia and that thing was crap, the dash warped so bad that you could see the yellow foam underneath it from outside the car, the A/C worked for all of six months, and transmission went bad whenever my girlfriend didn't even drive it hard, ever. We traded that disposable car in on a Nissan that will last past 100k miles, the Kia had about 90k at that point and was constantly giving us problems, it was a major disappointment. I need to mention that my girlfriend only drives about 10k miles a year and is definitely easy on cars, at least her '83 Cutlass Supreme never failed to get her where she needed to go and it was 16 years old when she got it, if that tells you anything about craftsmanship when comparing Korean cars to anything else.
