Somewhere close to 165mph on a bike at RoadAtl (and other places ) and about 125mph in my car(EFs don't like high speeds )
Been somewhere in the 160s i guess in my civic since the speedo doesnt go that far.
181 on a GSX-R 1000
165 in the gto... New owner told me he hit 180 verified by GPS and it was still pulling..
160 in a Carrera GT on the back straight at Road A
150-160 in a few GT3's
Now for my own car, 130-140 (typically 136mph w/o traffic) but i've probably done it 800-2000 times, I has no idea
It is true though, I just have no desire to go flat out on the street unless the moment/area/car that's running away from me is just perfect. Also, I typically let off after turn 9 at Road Atlanta just because those extra mph's is more like a waste of brake pad now instead of the rush I use to get just getting everything out of the car at every second (unless I am running with people)
135ish in my fc on 985 still had a lot to go, i had to slow down to merge onto 85
124 in my moms 03 Camry topped out on 985.
175ish in my dad's friend's f430 riding along. kinda scary.
Kia Sephia - 115ish (back when I was like 16 & it was moms car) lol.
86' chevy seirra (sp?) - speedo stopped at like 120 and I stayed on it for a good while after I pegged it out.
95' civic - 140ish
Been 150ish in a buddies BB6 prelude (riding). And the fastest I've ever went, riding of course, was like 170ish on the back of my dad's CBR when I was like 12. Scared the shit out of me. lolol.

It's all in the series name that makes them different because they are built form the same rule book but the series is what distinguishes the level of tech incorporated.
And don't get me started on why i refuse to call a Nascar a stockcar.
that did not answer the OP's question. it was how fast have you DRIVEN. not how fast you been.Originally Posted by BlazinBubble

in a way, i guess "technically" you call a car stock with a 572 or something. i mean, the car would have to be built using stock parts right? isn't that how most "stock" car racers build their engines? just putting together different parts from different motors but all of them being "stock"Originally Posted by MongolPup

No sense in adding fuel to the fire, but 120 was a quick blast in a powerful past car. I've maxed a car above 150 once... scary as hell.
150 in my RX-7 still had some RPMS left. Fastest I have ever been was 160+ in a 2008 ZHZ Corvette some where out in Arizona on the way back form the Grand Canyon.
Try not. Do or Do not.
145ish in the S... gets a little squirly up there

140+...Speedo said 150 but my car's top speed is listed at 143, and I was going slightly downhill so it's anyone's guess.
It was absolutely and completely empty on US-78 going from Alabama to Tennessee...so I got all testosterony and opened the taps. The road is like 985 when it turns to 365...big open highway which eventually greets you with traffic lights. I ended up coming back to my senses when I finally came across a red light...and some other lights, but that's a different story that no one will believe anyway.
