    Default Anyone know about registering an out-of-state car in Ga?

    Stationed in Cali. May be picking up a toy that's registered out here...but I wanna register it back in Georgia...

    Any experience/knowledge on this?

    i don't remember there being any difference i registered an escort my grandfather in michigan gave me.... but then again maybe there was and i just don't remember...

    Good to go. I was able to find with some research that Salvages have to have certified rebuilders and crap like that. Only way I'd pick up a salvage is for a track star. Good lookin' out, though.

    Just hoping they don't REQUIRE me to be there in person or anything like that.

    Thinking about making it my DD and keeping the stang for the weekends. Save me gas, wear and tear, and may make my insurance cheaper if the new toy becomes the daily...

    When I was stationed in North Dakota, all my cars were registered in GA. But I did that because I claimed residency here.
