    Default MBC's

    Manual Boost Controllers.

    Who has them?

    What Brand is it?

    Do you like it?

    Does it spike at all?

Are there any cons to having one on a 18g powered honda?

Idea of how long it would take a shop to retune it?

No, I do not plan on maxing out my turbo. I am just looking for a little more power.

They work just fine, all it really is, is a valve. It's pretty hard to fuck that up no matter what company you buy from. I ran a homemade, brass tee one for years without any problems.

is a retune required or will the MAF adjust the a/f ratio to accomidate the extra boost and keep it from running to rich or lean

if you are going to up the boost on ANY car make sure to tune for it. if you don't want to tune it, you can use a wideband and up the fuel pressure for a little more boost, but it will most likely still not be reliable.

always get a tune. there is nothing better.

If you want a two-stage boost controller, then go with either the boostvalve.com deluxe boost controller or an electronic boost controller like a Greddy Profec.

Turbosmart makes a really nice two stage MBC. Really nice product and is very well built.

its a little pricey, but i run a blitz dual solenoid EBC on my car, I have overboost protection, 4 preset boost levels, built in gauge, and it's as solid as they get, it ramps boost quickly and holds it perfectly.

Does the turbosmart two-stage controller allow the user to adjust each boost setting, or does it switch from the stock boost to a desired setting? Thanks for any help!

It should be two solenoids that you will have to set each. One solenoid would be your low boost and one would be set for high. There should be a switch that you would run inside the car so you can switch solenoids. Whatever you set the solenoids for is what you will push, as far as boost pressure
