hard as in doing it yourself or having a shop do it? it can be done and has been done before... any euro shop can do it i would highly recommend Eurotech Performance out in marietta. what motor do you have in the jetta now?

i hope you are good at wiring because that will be the hardest part. I have talked to a few people who have done 1.8T swaps in a mk2 and mk3 and they all say wiring is the hardest part. check out vwvortex.com im sure you can find some helpful info on there if you search.
the guy who i talked to about the 1.8T swap in a mk3 said that his doesnt pass emissions for some reason, has to do with the wiring.
90 Integra....Sold
96 Jetta VR6...current money pit
i dont have the car its my friends who is probably going to sell it to me i think its a 1.8 8valve motor not sure i will check it today when i get home. thanks for the shop info. and emissions shouldnt be a problem for me too long by the time i get that thing running it will be registered in a different state
honestly i would do a vr6 + boost before 1.8t - it probably has 2.slo in it so you can always just do a neuspeed supercharger or turbo setup for cheapest upgrade...
