Default I'm officially a Honda owner...

I traded in the subie this weekend for the above 09 Honda Fit Sport.

The payment is less than half the subaru, it gets 40mpg, it has 57 cubic feet of storage space, a 60,000 mile warranty, honda reliability, and its still a blast to drive.

It honestly was a hard thing to do, but the subie was bleeding me dry. The gas, payment, insurance, etc were just ridiculous for someone in my position/income level. I just couldn't do it. I'll likely have another in the future, but I'm really very impressed with the Fit. Its a sweet car. I feel like I did the right thing.

I don't have very big plans for it mod-wise. I got the factory rain guards installed as part of the deal. They look badass. I plan on tinting it rather dark and maybe doing some mild stereo upgrading down the road...but no ridiculous fiberglass enclosures or doors full of 6x9s....I'd do my best to keep it all looking the way it came. Just want a little tighter bass and such. The factory stereo is still great though. Power mods with be probably almost nil. Maybe a sport muffler just for some bling...like a Mugen or something.

AND ITZ GOT VTAK YO. Real i-VTEC. As I understand the previous generation just had a valve shutoff system that wasn't really the real thing. Its a damned fun car to drive. Very chuckable and willing to be really driven. Its got ample power, too. And its screwed together fabulously...not a rattle or loose part to be found. Same could not be said for the Aveos, Versas, Yari (Plural of Yaris?), and Lancers I test drove. In short, its a honda.

So I've joined the ranks. Just thought you guys should know. I'll have some better photos up in the next few days just for kicks.
