Default whats a good coilover system?

so i may infact bite the bullet and end up buying some new suspension. i been wandering what a good system might be. Although i want a good system, i really do not want to spend that much money, now i know quality always costs money. I am aware of that, but i am sure there are good systems that are not too expensive.

i think thats the one thing taht i am worried about. cause its a daily driver for me goign back and for on 285 and what not two times a week and getting up into my driveway, now i dont really care to much about the driveway thing anymore. getting up has become easy for me. but ill deal with getting out of it. but. yeah. are they in expensive?

If you are looking for mid level coilover, look at at buddy club n+, tein superstreet and skunk 2 pro c. All of them have adjustable dampening. I have buddy club n+ on my civic and the ride is great.

right now i am running tein s-techs with kyb agx's if i want to end up going any lower, i will want something very comfortable. I am honestly not looking to spend upwards to a grand. 600 maybe 700 would be my cut off.

I have skunk2 pros on my EF and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them for anyone... so bouncy... and I'm not even lowered to the tires...lol.... I have D2's on my 92 hatch. The best ride and comfort. 36 way dampning, can change spring rates, strut travel. D2 is worth the money you'll spend. I've learned with the EF, to the civic. Dampning is where it's at. Set the D2's on 15 and 10 and your driving a cadillac...

my springs (dropzone) i have...i almost feel i would have had the same or better ride w/ the megan coilovers because i have more dampening options than just 5-way adjustable struts, dont get me wrong, the struts are awesome...but having the option to adjust dampening and etc...is much better, the more options the better. let me see if ebay even has megan coilovers for tegs.

but you gotta pay to play, a better option than a full bodied coilover system might be tokico illuminas with ground control springs with adjustable perches for height

The Tein S-Techs are strictly for looks and it's a really soft spring (aka Tein Dress Up Master). Cheaper coil-over setups are bouncy because they don't have the dampening matched to the spring. I wouldn't be cheap on a coil-over dampener setup.

It took me forever to sell my Tein Flex for $800 lol! (25k miles and $1499 MSRP). I would suggest getting the Tein SS ($1k) or the Basic (non-adjustable, $800), I've installed them on several different models and been pleased with the results every time. I have seen Megan, Omnipower, and as of 2 weeks ago Buddy Clubs adjustment knob twist off the top of the shock. Have seen several Omnipowers with blown shocks too. I stick with what works and until this day I've never had or seen an issue with Tein dampeners...doesn't mean there hasn't been though!
