    Default $50,000 Wax...Zymol of course!

We need a detailing forum! Would be useful place for a tech on polishing headlight lenses and paint to cleaning wheels and engines or conditioning interiors! Plus insane things like this...

    Solaris Glaze! $50,000 w/ life-time refills.

how many quality paint jobs can you buy for $50,000... even with 22 cars... i don't find a value in this wax... though I would buy it for the novelty if i had that kind of spare change

Wow you guys sould really do some research before you speak. There's a reson why the shit is this much. 1. It's rare as hell. 2. It's better than anything else on the market. It's called supply and demand.

I know what it is... but I'll be straight up and say I cannot afford a years salary on wax for my car regardless of how much I love them! Sorry!

I do still special order all my stuff from meguiar's... they don't carry the stuff I use in the stores

I wouldn't go to Autozone to buy Meguiars for cars I got for free

    Special order the good stuff!!!

Is it bad all the guys at Autozone know me by name? or at least as the VWGirl that sells T-Mobile phones? I swear I don't buy that much stuff there!

That's why it isn't made for any of us. I would never buy the shit because I can't afford it, probably wouldn't even if I could, but it's worth it to some people. And it is the best you would ever get.

I guess if your a professional car detailer this might be worth it since it comes with lifetime refills.

And it's sort of worth it when you're doing car washes for $5000- up. It would pay for its self pretty quick.

it goes beyond "washing a car" wich is why most peoples paint looks like ass when i see them at car meets.

    haha +1111

But yeah, this is the kind of thing the big $$$ detailers buy, if you are paying $10k for a detail you better not be getting Meguiars #26. Google Paul Dalton/Miracle Detailing and you'll understand.

VWGirl, step away from the Meguiars. It's decent for what it is, but shouldn't even be brought up in this conversation

If you come to the VW show next month my paint will probably look like ass... I still haven't decided if I will wax it or not before the show (washed it for the first time since I have owned it recently)... it will probably buff out since it's old school... they just don't make paint like they used to

I'm not like this all the time with all of my cars... my bus is a several day process and needs done again.

Anyone tried that liquid claybar yet? I am curious if it is as good as the real thing... i somehow doubt it
