Default Thanks Mainstream for my Custom exhaust

Thanks Mainstream for my custom exhaust today. This is the 2nd time they did custom exhaust for my cars, and it is perfect again!!

It is really hard to make I4 engine sounds good, especially the 1.8 Toyota engine in the lotus, because there is really not much room for pipe and muffler. The Stock exhaust sounds like crap (it drones and sounds kinda.. hallow, no personality at all), and I was looking for some clean and a little louder exhaust sound compare to stock. Everything on the market is either too expensive, too loud, or too heavy. Some lotus exhaust uses bike muffler and can't even pass most of the track sound regulation.

Mainstream did this exhaust for me and it fits everything I want with a very reasonable price. es its not shinny, and its not name brand, but its light (around 15lbs), functional and sounds damn good. Very close to how OEM exhaust sound, maybe 20% louder. It drone less than OEM exhaust at low RPM and sounds more aggressive than OEM at high RPM. I didn't get tip at all, you can barely see the exhaust pipe unless you go under the car. I love the stealth look and I think the rear end looks a lot cleaner now.

    Humm, what exhaust

    Where is the exhaust?

    Here it is!!

This is pretty much what it looks like compare to stock exhaust, just without the tip

Although sometimes stealth can be a dangerous thing. Today, on my way to mainstream performance, a dodge 4x4 truck almost ran over my car. He was doing a lane change and didn't realize I was beside him. I hit my horn several times and Lotus horn sounds like some sort of dieing animal. I saw him look around and still moving toward me.(he looked around and still can't see me!! he probably thought he just ran over some animals lol...) After more horns he finally realized I was there..... Thanks god he was very slow when he did his lane change. If he ran over my car, I don't think my little thing can survive.... Its basically made out of some fiberglass and aluminum and hold by superglue..
Maybe a Louder exhaust system can be a safety equipment for this car.

0-60 in 4.8 secs is not exactly slow XD. But of course turbo sounds a pretty good idea!! I am actually waiting for a new SC that is suppose to give 275WHP.
