    Default 09 Corolla XRS

The new corolla's looking nice this year especially the XRS model. The S3 concept isn't bad either. Saves gas and looks good at the same time.

My girlfriend actually bought her 2009 Corolla XRS last year around June or so. It is a black on black with tint. Car looks beautiful and is actually quite fun to drive.

She loves it. Car looks very good in person.
I got free clear tails with my ride.....

The old XRS was actually a pretty cool and underrated car...it had the same 180 bhp 1.8 liter engine from the Celica. This new one seems just like an appearance package.

Toyota puts that engine in everything.

It's in the Camry, Corolla, all current Scions, the new Matrix, the RAV4, etc.

I won't lie, I've been WAITING for Toyota to finally make a Corolla worth the name and recognition that the Hachi Roku's brought to the table. This one, I think, acheives this.

Put it this way, if I had the money and a different set of rims on that bitch.....

    .... I'd buy one.

The sporty XRS model, introduced for 2005 & 2006 only, features the high-revving 127 kW (170 hp) 172 nm (127 ft-lb) 2ZZ-GE engine and 6-speed manual from the Toyota Celica GT-S and Lotus Elise.[3] The 2ZZ-GE motor was actually developed with collaboration from Yamaha motors, and uses similar technologies found in its sibling motor the 1ZZ-FE. The XRS was very similar to its Corolla S cousin, but the 2ZZ-GE and other structural changes set it apart. Notable features include the X-Brace, which increases structural rigidity in the rear. The XRS also featured a sport-tuned suspension, special seats with more aggressive bolsters, and also a fixed rear seat. The standard Corolla had 60/40 split folding seats, while the XRS had none.
