boost problem.........-

long story short , i have a 7 pound wastgate on a t3/t4 it almost boostes 4lb every day and every now and then 7lb , will a bad turbo cause it not to boost right , i have no boost leaks any where , and it will boost 7lb in high rpms 3rd and 4th gear , if any one has had this probelm , lmk and it is on a 91 crx si sohc. thanks.

so u old get to 7 psi every now and then. a bad turbo would cause that. like if u have bent on missing fins, loosed compressor or exhaust housing. or if u think u have a 7 pound wastegate and u actually have a 4 pound wastegate and now that its cold ur creeping to 7 psi.

Sounds like a 4 pound spring creeping as posted above....
