as bad as it sounds, i think the de loreans are very cool looking. when i worked in alpharetta, i used to see one everyday on 285.
Funny list to read, although the H2 thing makes it seem like Time are a bunch of liberal chubby chasing commies.
No Hondas or Acuras on there ftw.
It would still beat a civic
I thrive on caffineand HATE
Good read David...even though I do;n't agree with some of the choices. Given the fact that TIME doesn't have a clue...TIME; bunch of libs.

I don't think ANY car pre 1960 belongs on that list.
Other glaring exceptions:
1985 Mosler Consulier GTP is on the list because its ugly... PLEASE!
1997 GM EV1 - I didn't see anyone else putting their money where their mouth was back in 1997. So the car ends up on this list because it was a pioneer? Wow...
2003 Hummer H2: While I agree that its a heap of junk, "Overtly Militaristic" is confusing. USE those tow hooks and helicopter-dropoff hooks, watch what happens and THEN tell me the thing is "overtly militaristic". What they meant to say is that its "Overtly militaristic LOOKING". I've driven that thing - you couldn't pay me to own one. However if you add gas money, you've got a deal![]()
1990-Present
Explorer
GM EV1
Plymouth Prowler
Fiat Multipla
Jaguar X-type
Pontiac Aztek
BMW 7 series
Hummer H2
Chevy SSR
Excursion
Vossen CV3 20x9 & 20x10.5
I watched something.....can't remember the exact name but I think it was "Who killed the electric car?". I'm no huge conspiracy person, but the demise of the EV1 flat out REEKS.
yea the EV1 was a good car,as was the SSR,i love the prowler too,but it really needed a V8 with manual option
I was a little sad to see some of the cars added to this list...
Mazda never made the list...Booyah! I suppose that's cause they make good cars or cars so awful that it's just common knowledge. Good thing I don't own one... oh wait...
jk. I love my Spicy Orange MSP
H2's are complete garbage. $70K bucks for what? Big plastic box that is essentially a tahoe. Humvee>H1>H2Originally Posted by Atlblkz06

7 series made the list because people are too stupid to figure out how to use the simplest control system I've ever used (iDrive). I cant wait till our generation runs the world at least we know how to use basic electronics.

I agree completely. If you can run an Ipod you can use Idrive, its something our generation knows innately.Originally Posted by BATMOBL

An example: The radiator has a bunch of plastic parts that tend to break. They replace it with another plastic radiator and it breaks again.
I've seen a few dedicated "BMW 7 series sucks" websites out there lol.
All said n done - If I hate iDrive, why force it down my throat!
The customer is ALWAYS right - someone needs to remind BMW!
Oh, and I do like iDrive.
I always read that the original iDrive was pretty horrible. They even make fun of it on Top Gear, and those guys know how to work all of the gizmos that come with new cars. They've made improvements every year since its conception, so I would have to hear from someone who has experience with the systems from several years, but I haven't messed with any of them, so I don't know how intuitive any of them are.
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...
Top Gear is notorious for making fun of new technology and not making it "Cool." They have a huge influence in car culture and are thrashing one of our best car advancements, sequential transmission, CVT, dual clutches ect. Its just "not a proper box, flappy paddle box blah blah blah." Its where the future is going and needs to go. Hopefully they don't kill it. Everyone under the age of 30 ive ever talked to about iDrive thinks its very simple.Originally Posted by okra1981
