Default gsr build cant figure out why its burning oil

i built my GSR and ran it for 650 miles it was tuned right when i built it
i pulled out of somewhere and ran it to about 7500 rpm and let off after i let off i looked in my rear view just to make sure there were no cops and i saw smoke i revved a little bit and it started throwing it out more and more

    I built it setup with
    82 mm overbore pr3 pistons
    stock crank
    stock rods
    je rings

the head is port and polished head
    stock valves
    stock valve guides
    felpro valve seals
    titanium retainers
    dual springs

i took the motor apart and checked the piston it is cylinder 1 thats burning
i checked the piston it was fine and i checked the rings and they looked fine i didnt see anything wrong so i put them back in and i sent my head to the machine shop and got it checked and it came back with nothing wrong so i put it back together thinking the rings might have just come unset and it still burns oil

    HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!

    x2 on that

When you installed the rings, did you check to see if the marking were up and were they position right? And when the pistons was in did you check for play? Did the new valve seals seat in right? I would have used oem valve seals. When you pull the header off did you see any oil in the exhaust port?

DiD YOU CHECK THE RING GAPS? Cleaned out the factory catch can in back? Did you check the ringlands to make sure there is no hairline crack? how about the clearance between piston and cylinder walls? also clearance of the valves and valve guide......they can be worn out

probably should have used OEM rings instead of JE. Thats just my opinion though, heard bad things about their rings.

ok i put piston 4 in cylinder 1 and piston 1 in cylinder 4 just to see what happens and there is still an oil leak on cylinder one so i have switched them back and narrowed it down to either valve seals or i cracked my head somehow???

^please tell me your replacing your headgasket every time your tear down your block to NOT fix it. check those valve stem seals. ever thought of a compression test before you broke down your block like what.... 4 times?

correct... and the longest possible repair too...

why dont you take it to someone who knos something about a internal combustion engine... have you even looked at either the topside exhaust or intake valves through the intake and exhaust ports. to see if oil is in your case... POORING down them... when you start the car, can you tell if the oil is being burned, like going through the motor and combustion camber or just leaking out the exhaust valve stem seals and burning up in the exhaust?

or a compression test can give you a indication of what and what is NOT a problem. like rings.

it doesnt matter how much time you have do you know how much of a waste of money all that is... you could have fixed it the first time with out taking the head off if it was a just stem seal... geez....

Ive seen several motors with bad oil control rings still pass a compression test, they aren't always useful for diagnosing oil consumption. The compression rings seal isn't a good indicator of oil usage.

The last 3 honda engines ive pulled apart all burned oil, and all 3 had perfect compression. All 3 of them also had seized oil control rings after disassembly!. Not saying thats the prob here but its not a end all solution.
