    I will have one in the next few years. Not now though. lol. I wish. I wonder what some seriously good drivers would do with a set of drag radials or slicks would do with that car. 11.50 is unreal for a little old chevy,lol, stock with stock tires.

    your not kidding! They claimed 12.2@113 for my model Z06 and there were good bit of guys running 11.8-11.9@114-117 on stock tires as well. This new Z06 comes with those damn run flats so put some DR's or BFG G-force tires and low 11's all day long.

    GM did it right on this one. An absolutely amazing car!

    I would assume so. The Z board is going nuts with it. Road and track was posting low 12's@ low 120mph. It's all about driver as you can see.

    just got my Motor Trend and Car and driver in mail. I saw the Z06...read the specs and all i can HOLLY SHIT.....lots off ppl out there with Ferrari's, vipers, Lambo (may b), porshe.....etc etc will b heart broken when they drive this 65K monster compared to their 100k or 300k cars. I wanna see a lingenfelter (spellin??) twin-turbo Z06 .

    No shit- that car is sweet as hell. Who would buy a Viper after that? I certainly would not... It seems as if GM might be trying to redeem itself.

    well mt also says the C6 is fast but all of them at the track that i have seen run mid 13's.

    That C6 Z06 is absolutely amazing. A jack of all trades right outta the box. I'm looking forward to meeting the owner of one on the streets one day...

    One thing I really hate about all these ET's that magazines post is the fact that bench/magazine racers who know nothing about actually racing performance cars use this information as their basis in any and every single type of arguement involving racing. There's a difference between racing at a track @ sea level in warmer temps w/ a fully prepped and heated track and being a professional driver... and racing at fk'n Commerce where they don't give a shit about you. =x
