GNX here. sure f40 and like are awesome, but for down to earth ass kicking from a affordable 6cyl, the gnx delivers. those things are beasts in buick clothing. syclone/typhoon are close second, but just too rare.

There have only been 3 generations in the last 15 years and it hasn't pioneered anything with F.I. lately. The Turbo bore the first variable turbochargers, not the GT2. It's a mere child compared to the Turbo in terms of what it's done for Porsche. Plus some say the Turbo WAS the old GT2, just now with AWD as standard.Quote:

1g DSM Eclipse, Talon, Laser all the way for me. No they didn't revolutionize anything, but they provided a fun, easily upgradable car that could be fast. As soon as that caught on the 4g63t became a phenomenal performer for the money.

I'm a little biased towards the EVO since I own one, but I think the best turbo car they ever made and sold here was the MK4 supra. R34 all time though. Godzilla FTW

I voted for Porsche 911 Turbo..but hard a hard time between that and the F40. Porsche has had turbos on their production cars (the 911 family) longer than pretty much anything up there (Nissan Z is up there with Porsche in terms of a single model line being availe with a turbocharger)....and they demand respect. C'mon..out of all the cars up there, which one got the nickname "The Widowmaker"? The Porsche...

I had the same dilemma. But I chose the F40 because at the time there was nothing else like it. Carbon Fiber, Kevlar and aluminum body...Wut?. First production car to break 200mph...Also I think it the last "pure" Ferrari supercar. No electronic bullshit... Just the seat and your ass, and a chance to find out how big your balls are.Quote:

I think the Bugatti is the most sophisticated, best engineered machine built out of the cars but its a tie between the GNX and Supra for me! Just because those cars didnt cost over a million dollars and the supra til this day is still one of the most sought after cars and still out performs most cars built today.
