What kind of jacks are you guys using? My little hydraulic floor jack isn't low enough, thinking about checking Northern Tool to see if they have a reasonably portable low profile one... or go back to the ol' scissor jack![]()

use ramps with a low profile.
thats just about the best way to do it. drive it up on the ramps first then use a jack.Originally Posted by wantboost
I don't have one low enough for my cars either. I just do the lame, roll it on to boards trick to get a jack under it.
I found this on the Northern Tool site. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...5429_200345429
Now that I rooming with my cousin who's in the USAF I just get him to drive on base with my car and go the Auto Skills Development Center and rent a lift and tool's for $5 an hour.
Just pull your tires on some bricks and jack it up from there...lol. Well atleast that's what I do...
I use a scissor jack to get my hydraulic one under it.
