    Default Wheel repair...ugh

So I scraped the absolute **** out of my passenger side front wheel last night. I took the paint off of a good fifth of the lip. I'm guessing it would have to be sanded or something to smooth it out before painted. Any places that could make my wheel sexy again that you guys have dealt with (the closer to midtown the better, but willing to do some driving if needed)? Also, do you think it would be just a get there, wait a few hours and they'd be done sort of thing? Or would it take a day or two? Also around how much do you think it would cost?

Camera phone pick of the heinousness:

Can Bucky take care of this sort of thing? Because I know people greatly approve of his work.

Curb rash sucks man its definietly happened to me before. Did you buy the rims from a shop or online? usually they have a damage warranty on them so you can send them off to be repaired or just get a new rim but if you just bought them off someone then there isnt a whole lot you can do depending on how deep it is. Maybe its possible to grind/sand it down and then re-coat it but i haven't heard of that before

I bought them from edgeracing.com. I'll have to check on a warranty, although I'm not holding my breath.

I'm probably going to do a quick touch up job with some flat black paint since it currently looks so bad. At least until I'm actually able to get it repaired.

Same thing happened to me and I was just about to post this question. I live in the McDonough area. Any places near me? Google sucks on the subject, it brings up alloy wheel repair, not aluminum. Where is wheelwizards located?

I appreciate it, but I don't really want to get all of my wheels resprayed.

Haha, I may just end up buying a new wheel since it will probably only cost me 50 more dollars than the cheapest repair option. I'll try a little diy and see how that goes first.
