Domestic manufactures do a very poor job of extracting the same amount of energy per liter of displacement as their foreign counter parts. My old AE86 Corolla made the same horsepower per liter as a Z06.
If Honda were to make a engine as big as the one found in a Z06, I assure you it would probably do filthy things to American egos. It's nothing personal. GM just isn't big on energy efficiency. But a Fearrai, or still screams like an angry hot woman during sex, will run with a Corvette on the track, and will get you laid eight times as fast as a Corvette too. The Veyron's tires will melt after 15 minutes of being at it's top speed. The fuel will run out in 12 as a safety precaution if at top speed... Must have a little power behind it and be able to reach some sort of high speed

yeah, motivation has alot of good points, i'd like to see a chevy hold its own against a lambo or somthing of that nature, just saying, those really are "race" cars not just "weekend" cars.

As much as I like imports I will have to take the side of only one domestic car, the c6 corvette. It is pretty much the only american sports car that has been done right. The Z06 and now the ZR1 have pushed the corvette to new benchmarks that only a few imports could ever dream of.
Life begins at 6000 RPMS.. You will notice an audible change in engine noise, large increase in acceleration and any female passengers will immidiately start to remove their clothing.
I never said they weren't awesome cars. Like I said in the other thread, I think there should be a respect for all vehicles. A true enthusiast doesn't hate on something else cause he thinks something is better. They may have their preferences but when they see someone with a nice car, they will tell the person. I love domestic cars. I just love imports also.

QFT, I actually have a blog saying the same things on here. I think thacker is the worst car person I've ever heard of, he doesnt know how to appreciate a car that isnt his and doesnt have a V8. Most cars have good things or potential

yea like imports and domestics,but i mean different strokes for different folks
but dont put down the Z06 or ZR1 both of these cars have left Ferrari,Lambo and Porsche not able to sleep
Chevy has been raising the bar everyyear for over 50 years,without changing thier market,this speaks volumes for them,such an amazing machine yet as simple as any chevy that come before it
