    Default Just some opinions on my choices

    My current cars:
    '69 datsun 2000 (first car, probably keeping forever, used to be my grandparent's as well)- stock, lowered, Z rims.
    '90 Eclipse GSX- fmic, clutch, some 2g stuff, tuning stuff, rims, little bit of suspension, etc.
    '78 camaro Z28- rolling chassis w/subframe connectors, relocated battery, roll cage, etc (I have the motor, tranny, and whatever else it needs to run).

    Here's my problem, I don't know whether to sell the GSX, buy a cheap DD, and make the camaro really nice (probably sell it after that) OR keep the GSX and just get the camaro running to sell it, then mod the GSX some more.

    Pros to selling the GSX and doing the camaro:
    -more economical gas wise (probably a honda civic as a DD)
    -pretty quick drag car I could mod more and more.
    -maybe make a couple hundred of profit on the GSX, on top of what I already have in it.
    ?


    Pros to keeping the GSX and selling the camaro:
    -possibly make about $1500ish profit from selling the camaro, on top of getting back what I have in it.
    -have a 12 second daily driver GSX
    ?

    Just would like to here some opinions and if you have another idea, throw it out there. My tiny reps will be given to good ideas/opinions (or any opinions if it's pertaining to this. lol)

    Eh, get rid of the DSM and build that Camaro. Get a cheap DD. Gas is going up like hell, and a DSM isn't the most reliable car in the world.

    sell gsx and camaro get a cheap honda and build up the datsun

    92 Lx 466, 11.8 @ 111 (Daily Driver )
    98 sunfire GT (terrible gas mileage)

    Sell GSX, buy a SE-R as DD, build Camaro as drag car and have the 14 sec Sentra for gas mileage

    shit keep all of them and concentrate on one at a time. i personally hate selling cars. i like to collect cars.

    we've all tried to make him keep a car, but he gets bored with 'em.

    i think you'll say you're keeping the GSX and find someone to buy it from you in exchange for the DD EF/turboed/bseries swap and lowered you know you miss and a some hard cash. 'cause what else will give you amazing gas miliage AND be turboed?

    Eh really just depends on what you want to do. You have just about every different kind of car.

    And to all of those that say DSM's aren't reliable, please do some research.

    How come you can only get the civic dd if you sell the gsx? Which one do you like to drive better? Keep that one and buy a dd.

    110k isn't much in today's world. My friend had one with 168,xxx and it's crank was walkin' lol.

    keep the camaro,even with 3 times more HP it will be way more reliable

    The only swap so far that doesn't result in cutting up the car, is a miata engine... and like I said. Slowest option

    ...i'd sell Camaro first, buy a DD and then sell GSX second and mod the DD...just my opinion...Camaro would be a piece of cake to sell round these parts...
