b20a5 upgrades?

Wanting to know some things I could do for extra hp. Really needing some ideas. Oh its a JDM B20a not a b20a5. Could I run a different head/vtec head? Small turbo?

head swap for a vtec head and then some boost

What kind of head do you think would be good for the motor? cause somebody told me that b20a were not really like the other b-series motors and you couldn't use other b-series parts on it......
