    Default HKS c-clip

    How the hell do i attached the metal c-clip into the flange that holds the HKS BOV down?! sht is pissing me off.my ring pliers dont open up far enough to grab it how it is and once i grab it it just pops out and dosnt even move at all!

    its the c-clip that HKS provides with the BOV..
    help?!

    I used 2 curved mechanic's picks...kinda looks like a slight hook. I think I also used 2 straight awls before. It's easier to me if I take all those little allen bolts out and take the cover off the bov.

    I used Snap On snap ring pliers. You might be able to get some snap ring pliers from harbor freight for 2 dollars and use it one time... Fifty fifty chance that the tips of them would break or bend and not hold though....

    it's actually a snap ring, go to home depot and you can get a set of channellock snap ring pliers for 21ish bucks and they have a lifetime warranty, i can do it if you can bring it to me.
