Drill the correct size hole, tap the threads.

I also recommend some kind of thread sealant, preferably blue loctite. [blue because it will help seal, but if you ever need to remove it, it breaks loose easily enough that you won't kill yourself like with the red], although some just use teflon tape.

Also, make sure you get ALL of those metal shavings out, but I'm sure you knew that.

Unless you've got the 2 piece fitting, then just drill, put the fitting in, and put together with loctite/other sealant around the edges and on the threads on the fitting.

still running the stock ECU and such? just need additional fuel? are you a person who wants to set it and forget it? or you a constant tuner?

if you wanna hold on about 2 weeks or so i'll have my emanage for sale, wires etc etc send me a PM if your interested. its a laptop tuner, it has alot more fuel parameters than the Vafc's BUT it doesn't do the Vtec thing which by the looks of it your LS doesn't have so if your interested in going that route i'll cut ya a good deal on it. but if not i'd say invest in a VAFC and use the AF part of it right now then when you boost on the GSR you can use the Vtec engagement part of it. so its really up to you but if you're looking to save some cash now and get something with a better... "air/fuel mapping area with closer details Emanage, if your looking for basic AF duties and Vtec later on get the Vafc"

Well, regardless of temporary or not, I'd say go ahead and have the ECU chipped/tuned. But with a walbro, larger injectors, and an AFPR, you could probably get away with pulling fuel out using a piggyback controller. Like I said, though, I'd say go with a real tune, ether way. Just remember, there ARE other options besides Hondata, a lot of which are less expensive and just as functional.
