    Where did y'all get the ball bearing for the manual boost controller?
    We don't have any bicycle shops that I know of around here, and lowes and other hardware shops didn't have any.

    Who here has actually run one of the DIY MBCs? I thought about building one and trying it out just for shyts and giggles, but I didn't want to risk a malfunction, either.

    I feel really resourceful for this, but I just got back from walmart and will be using a sling-shot BB. It's 1/4" which is the size I need.

    I'll let you know how it goes if you want.

    We did one on Batdude8's starion and we actually used a slingshot BB also. Im not sure if he ended up using it or not. The next one he set up was parts out of the grainger catalog though.
