"I find that VERY hard to believe that was a "monster Miata" there known for raping a corvette much less a turbo civic... either that civic had a nitrous boost and was turbo, or the "monster Miata" driver is retarded.

i drive a 93 4 banger with only an exhaust system.. and i have RAPED well over 4 different boosted civics on the interstate..."

I will admit that atleast 2 of them just plain diddnt know how to shift (bought it boosted) but the other 2 was just plains skill vs power.
i dont LOVE street racing, but i do love out downshifting someone for 1 mile for $20.... the point is a V8 miata (reguardless of boost of not) WILL indeed woop the sh*t out of a boosted civic LX (knowing 99% of Luxury anything by honda come out with less HP than the EX's)

The post wasn't about my car out manuvering others it was calling BS on a boosted civic

Look at the Miata drop off. Pretty obvious he left off the throttle.

If you know anything about racing you would know there's MUCH more to factor in than just a horsepower number...weight, gear ratios, traction, etc. etc.

Everything I mentioned is even more important in road racing. Not just racing but it's speed and motion in general.

"Its not the car, its the driver" the pilot is the most important upgrade to any vehicle... and clearly the miata lets off the throttle...
ill admit my tech knowledge is still in the novice level i just know know as a monster fan. that race was way 1 sided.
