im assuming your guys were on street tires running those times. 13.8 @ 111 is pretty horrible driving. street tires makes it a little better, but damn bro that should have been at least a 13.3-4. d16_turbo ran a 12.8 @ 108 on his stock ls turbo (57 trim) at only 8psi.
