they do not have the same engine. The nsx is DOHC, the type II is SOHC. The engines are completely different. Its like the accord F series and the S2000 F series engines. All the type II engine and NSX engine share in common is the letter C.

The Legend type II is sweet. I think its 260hp 6sp, but the only problem is they are mad old and damn near impossible to find with reasonable miles. They all have like 150K+ on them and they are still pricey. If you can find a nice one with low miles for a good price, I say go with the legend. If you cant find that combination, go with the wrx.

Yeah, unless it is a Legend Type II with the 6 speed and reasonable miles, the WRX is DEFINITELY the obvious choice.

Wrx, because the older legends get the more problems they have.

preciate it I'm leanin more towards the WRX but i've driven a couple of legends but the wrx would def be different cuz i don't see them in that style that often. And it would be a daily driver w/power. I also don't know to much about WRX's and I heard that the legend gets BHG's often. I just don't know. I'm basically lookin to see which one would have better results with minor upgrades.

The Legend is the Japanese Cadillac! If you can find a nice one go with it since you already have a project. Baller Mobile!!!

Haha! That is my brother's old car... it looked a ****load better with the 18" 5 spoke Ronals he put on it.

Legends are pretty cool, really torquey, and have a BEAUTIFUL sounding exhaust if you go with an aftermarket kit. However, manual type II ones are pretty rare (my brother's was one), and they are pretty pricey to repair if you break something important because parts aren't the easiest to come by.

The WRX would probably a better idea for power and reliability if you are gonna drive it hard, but Legends are pretty awesome cars.

EDIT: Do you have any more pictures of it?

Legends are definitely nice cars (my mom used to drive one and one of my good friends currently does), but if you have the money, I'm going to have to say wrx.
