No that's not what Im saying look at my first post. If you did a project civic or integra why do you go back to it? That's what my point is and then also when you got to do your next civic or integra WHY THE **** DOES IT LOOK THE SAME!!!???? That's my point. It makes no sense. Ugh. If it was a 93 hatchback and you swapped it for a what 07 Civic Si then I would understand but if you get another oh 95 hatchback for another project WHY????!!! AND WHEN YOU MOD IT WHY THE HELL DOES IT LOOK THE SAME AS THE 1ST ONE!!!!??

Ugh I cant wait till I sell my Prelude and get something much nicer.

and there were NO easy swaps, and NO easy ways to get power. plus everything was expensive as hell.

I kind of agree. The import modding scene is going down IMO. One day, I would love to get my hands on a oldschool Nova or a genuine domestic

Dampens the sound of the engine. Not much but is a bling factor. No USDM cars came with it. Prelude did not come with anything spectacular. Most all JDM PReludes have that. I hated having a CF hood cuz so much time and effort was needed to take car of that. So I got a JDM Type S hood and it came with it. The hood cost me only 100 bucks which came with it. So it's not bad.

haha you jdm whore. i dont think that adds any to your bling factor... if ur going for bling u shouldve stuck with the cf. i wont get one b/c of the work required and the fact that it would completely ruin any potential autox competition by putting me with the SM cars...

im jk bout the jdm whore thing... kinda...
i thought you actually bought a hood insulator for your car b/c it was jdm... i was like WTF.

As a Starion owner, my second car was devoted to being the daily and dependable driver Granted, I really thrashed on my Starion when the engine was going out on it

It also protects the paint on the hood from engine heat.

not all cars heat transfer the same under the hood.. my svt contours hood, would prob go up in flames if it wasnt for the insulation it had. some hoods need it!

How about you take YOUR money and do what YOU want to YOUR car and then let other people take THEIR money and do what THEY want to THEIR car?

I think Preludes are ugly cars that start out way too damn heavy...I also think that spending money on "JDM" goodies that would not otherwise be recognized by the average person until you mention it is a waste of money, BUT it is YOUR car and YOUR money to do with as you please, so I don't say anything and we both go on doing our things.

Some people buy the same car a number of times over, so what? It is not your money they are spending, so get the **** over it.

    Maybe I really liked them...

Maybe I wanted a different one for a different kind of racing...

Maybe I liked to see a row of them parked next to each other...

It doesn't really matter why, the point is that it is my money to do with as a please and you shouldn't bother yourself with it.

If you buy an integ and finish it the way you like...why do you go buy another one AND MAKE IT THE SAME!!!!??? SAve up and get something new. It gets stale afterwhile.

And the Prelude is done. I just need it painted, sell it, and get a SUV or soemthing. I cant stand imports anymore. Im done with the scene.

do you race? and if you built a different ar for different types of racing, you wouldnt have several identical ones, would you?

and if you dont anyways, then why the f*ck are you arguing with me about it? i can have my opinion if i want and i can voice it whenever i want.

I do race, yes, but that is not in question here.

If I did build different cars with different setups, no, they would not be identical, but even if I was into racing and just liked having a couple of the same cars, what are the chances that they would end up being "identical"?

The OP was talking about buying another of the same car, people do that all the time, but I have never seen it done where the next car is "identical" and since it isn't, why does it bother you that it is the same car and they didn't move on to something new?
