I think the poster on YouTube who mentioned that Lexus was struggling with Auto reverse and BMW made an auto-lapper is close, but I will completely agree with him when I start seeing people driving to work reading the newspaper and can feel safe about it.
yeah bmw and lexus' self-park systems aren't really "self-parking" you've still gotta line the car up lol
I think it's a step in the right direction though. Can't go wrong with German engineering
thats just plain crazy! its ridiculous! lol that is just plain crazy i'm speechless seriously!
after you get the 200sx running lets install w/e the **** the germans used to make that ***** do that..lolOriginally Posted by PURE jdm

The car probably is a better driver than we are. Thus it wouldn't get a ticket for speeding.
I'm willing to sell spare organs for this on the Audi. Srsly.
Hah, I saw this on Top Gear earlier today...oh wow...I love that "Brake, please brake, BRAKE, BRAKE!!!"
I was watching this episode earlier and wow..that's pretty fuking impressive

I wanna see how it would react if it lost traction.
UGA: Everybody is laughing at us this year.
good point..it probably wouldn't react very well...i'm sure this technology is still very new...did anyone read about or watch the college competition for cars that had a race by themselves? that was pretty interesting...Originally Posted by nreggie454

Damn man thats ****in nuts. That really is something else, i mean the lexus parallel parking is impressive, but this really makes u think, whats in store for us in the near future. But hopefully, in the future, technology will be at a point where this will be an option such as Cruise Control.
lol
But that Lexus parking thing got :idb: by the BImma.
of course you have to keep in mind, this was only tested after being trained to go around a track. I'm sure they will eventually have more intuitive systems that can dodge obstacles/whatever.Originally Posted by TRYMY4.0
hmm, he didn't drift this one. that would be interesting to see how that system would handle that if they trained it for that style of driving.
so does this BMW drag from 30-130+ if we wanted to like on BP meets? hahahah
yeahhhhhh you likeeeee when she does thattttttt
