you can get full piping kits made for your car and a intercooler for 260-340 on ebay. And there actually decent good for about 350whp or so.
I do rb20 and rb25 wiring into s13 and s14's 300.00 shipped 24hr turn around turn ket start guaranteed! PM me for more details!
Dimension for the piping actually does not have a standard, but it actually makes your turbo's response and limit your max power. Small piping means easier to fill up, less lag. Bigger piping means harder to fill up, but more air to go in. So it really depends on your turbo setup. My hot pipe is about 2 inches and cold pipe is 3 inches. My buddy's GT2871 SR has a 3 inches hot pipe and 4 inches cold pipe. It is all about how much power you planned for your car.
thanks i was thinking in the lines of 2-1/2" but i need the demensions like 2 u bends and what else i was doing the reserch but found no info if i dicide to go 3" i idont know if ebay sales 3" piping so any info helps thanks
Can you shoot us a link, I would like to see whick one your talking about!!Originally Posted by SpoolNSlide

the max you need on that turbo is 2.5 inch on hot side and 3 inch on cold side.
even GT42 turbos dont run 4 inch piping for charge piping of the compressor.
id love to see that guys setup and see the large reducer from 2/2.5 inch on the GT28 compressor housing to a 3 inch pipe.
your friend could reduce a substantial amount of lag with no loss of power by stepping down to properly sized piping for that turbo
Maybe my eye sight is a little off. I always thought my cold pipe is 3in. I guess it is only 2.5 after what you said. But the cold pipe that he has is a custom piping and it looks 4in to me, but I may be wrong.
i have an acura integra gsr 98
Read up the new Project Car magazine. They turboed a GSR!!!'

check out ebay and look for sre piping. its like 160 including shipping, with a flange and it fits perfectly. i run spoolinperformance piping, but its pricey.

thanks for the advice i was just wondering the demensions like after 3 days of searching theres is no info on the piping demensions like 2 u bends 2 45 degrees piping i was just wondering what demensions where they i just bought some piping from ebay
you should have got a kit fit for your car. the universal kits are not all that great. they involve a lot of cutting and a ton of couplers.

bingo, you always want the least amount of joints & couplersOriginally Posted by patrick4588

LIKE I SAID I BOUGHT THE KIT BUT TRIYING TO FIND INFO ON MAKING MY OWN I COULDNT FIND NONE ANYONE HAS INFO ON THIS
What do you want to know? It depends on the turbo and what kinda of power you're wanting to put down.Originally Posted by teglover85
I MENT ON THEDEMENSIONS ON THE PIPE I HAVE A 50 TRIM WELL THE DEMENSIONS FROM THE INTAKE MANIFOLD TO THE INTERCOOLER FROM INTERCOOLER TO THE TURBO
Wouldn't that depend on the style of the manifold and the size and placement of the intercooler?Originally Posted by teglover85
i dont know thats why i wanted info i couldnt find none
Sooo...don't you think the piping would be the last thing to even think about if you don't even know what manifold or intercooler you're running?Originally Posted by teglover85
i dont understand why you are still wanting to make your own and need dimensions. i told you two places where you could buy pre made kits that FIT without having to do anything. you pick which manifold you are running and what flange you need. its really easy. you must need to be spoon fed... oh well im in a giving mood....

can we get back to the topic
What topic? What do you want to know? You can't possibly know what piping you need until you get the manifold, turbo, and intercooler, period.Originally Posted by teglover85
i bought a cheap ebay kit for 600 dollars my friend sold me the intercooler and all i needed was the piping i was triying to find info on doing it myself and didnt since i couldnt find any info and decided on buying one from ebay i was still courious about the information i didnt find if one of my buddies wants to do it themself i can help them
so anybody knows the demension on intercooler piping for an integra any year or knows where i can find the info
u just need to do the setup and play with the pipe until u get it right. I hope that helps and also i hope you have a welder or some good couplings b/c,....just b/c.
Boost does not like cheap couplings.

I've made pipe, and I've used pre-made pipe. Pre-made FTW. I made pipe for my car because pre-made at the time was $800.
You drive a Honda, you can get premade piping for under $200, enjoy that, you never want to know what it's like not to have 1,000,000 companies making 10,000,000 parts for your car.

LoL at this thread just got to ssautochrome.com they've got FULL kits including ALL turbo stuff, intercooler downpipe everything! for 528.00 shiped. Even comes with extras like a turbo timer, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator...and more! lol
I do rb20 and rb25 wiring into s13 and s14's 300.00 shipped 24hr turn around turn ket start guaranteed! PM me for more details!
the point of the thread is to help people build thare own piping i guess nobody has info on the demensions of piping for integra

2) EVERY SINGLE APPLICATION WILL HAVE DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS.
How is this so hard for you to comprehend? The dimensions of the piping SOLELY depends on what intercooler and manifold you buy, what turbo, and how much power you are anticipating to put down.
You post back with exactly what intercooler you are running, exactly where it is going, precisely what turbo and manifold you are running, then I am sure someone can tell you a little more about it...until then quit bumping this thread.
