Once I hit it big though, I'll do it.
blah, why convertible..they're heavier and less rigid.

Its definately bandwagon, but for a reason. SR parts are abundant, the motor itself is extremely light, and with a simple mod, like rocker arm stoppers, you can easily handle 400whp on stock internals. Sammy from Tiger Racing swapped an SR into his R32. The S13 and s14 chassis themselves are run of the mill, but thats the price you pay. Its the RWD civic. Not only is it the best budget drift car, its such a fun car to drive. Be expected to be harassed by grand am owners though, they tend to not like them. Oh and Civic owners will ***** and moan because its a bandwagon car. <--- I find that ironic lol. As if an EG hatch with a B series swap isnt?

But I love Z's and if you have money, or a lot of time to work on them, then go for the Z, they are more rare, and a Z definately holds a name. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
It's a great engine with tons of potential but maintaining and repairing it is really expensive. Unless you've built an empire around the Z32 like Russell (mentioned above) and have done it hundreds of times it's a difficult car to work on even for an experienced mechanic.

I think 300zx are ok, but never think they look good.
240sx look good, and when it comes to modifying they are cheaper and looks a lot better.
That is why people pick 240's right?
    IMO.

definitley get a 300zx twinturbo, and has to be a Z32. There not hard at all to work on them, ive had 2 and with very little previous mechanical knowledge ive basically taken this car apart and put back together. And yes it did run after i did it .
