    Default d16 build

d16 whats a good setup for a d16 as far as i/e/h/im and pistons and rods that would yield a decent amount of power? money is not the issue just want to get more for the money

You could try some skunk2 cams(whatever profile you perfer), bigger throttle body, valve springs and ti retainers, skunk2 high comp. valves, and etc. Build the head. Your not going to make very much all motor power out of a d16 so dont expect much. If money isnt the issue than you should just go ahead and turbo it.
    Boost under slow construction...

1st gen integra pistons don't forget a hondata and atleast run arp rod bolts it is also not a bad idea to drop the rotating assymbly including the pressure plate flywheel and crank pully off at a machine shop and have it ballanced

i had a built d16 and it made somewere around 160 somthing to the wheels with 12.5:1 wisco pistons eagle rods comp cam ( that was the only one out at the time) 310 injectors ported head by RLZ in NC. 1mm oversized valves, everything was balanced and blueprinted ...it was it made 219 to the wheels with a 75 shot wet kit it was nasty as hell single cam I got like 140,000 miles out of it racing every weekend it was in a bronze 94 coupe. i used to go out to morland with it before the BIG bust years ago. so single cams can be quick.

best bet is going to be boost. pistons, rods, block guard, etc. and then boost it...u can get around 300whp with the proper turbo setup.

Greenthum, i remember your car i think, didnt u get it dyno'd at max performance once in mcdonough when they had a dyno day? that was back in the day tho...when they used to run in the backstreets of southlake too

you can build a reliable boosted single cam that will last for pretty cheap... its all about how much boost you run, and how properly you tune it...
but if you are just stuck on going all-motor... just let us know what kinda power you are expecting to make and around about how much you want to spend and we can work from there....

ha, just swap a b16 and call it a day, not even worth the trouble of rebuilding if its not going to be for boost

exactly...even a b20z swap with those mods would be a good swap if all you want is intake, exhaust, im, and header
