wrong forum panda boy, no nitrous in here.

Crower is an alright brand... I personally prefer Skunk2 due to the dyno results i have seen in person and on honda-tech.

Both companies have a stellar reputation, you can find naysayers wherever you look though.

true, i have witnessed this firsthand at many an autox. Boys there will turn decent times with their S2ks... then one day they'll show up with their car having a nice little vortech sc under the hood. They're not spinning out or anything (decent drivers for the most part), but their times suffered as a result.

... why did Opera Performance leave the engine stock, and focus their tuning on the ap1 chassis? Because the S2k has a well thought out base engine that fits the chassis perfectly.

Yea that why most ppl lower it to 9 to 1 for turbo setup but i like this guy's idea all motor s2k= more reliable

this is what i dont understand. The posts say "i want to stay all motor" and everyone is like "boost it!" Its like they dident read the origional post. Anyways to answer the question, its a tough decision. From personal experience, i enjoy crowers performance, but its not like skunk has a bad rep.

Skunk2 all the way, I have had Crower cams ground incorectly and had to send them back, it was a hassel. Skunk2 offers a drop in cam that requires no cam adjustments. Use Skunk2 valvetrane and buy retainers as the S2000 has weak retainers. I respect you for choosing the all motor route with your S2000 most people scream forced induction not knowing how weak the S2000's pistons are or how sensitive the motor is to exhaust backpressure. For further all motor mods I would avoid the light weight flywheel as this throws off the ballance of the motor. The main goal of any performance build is to improve acceleration and the fastest way to do that is to change the final drive, I suggest a 4.57; has good acceleration and driving charictoristics with moderate gear wine. After that I would go with a good header, test pipe, and single exhaust.

I use supertech in my B16 and I have been very happy, however when you start mixing manufactures you have to look at cam lift specs and seat pressures. If you are not comfortable with this then it is best to use what the cam manufacturer suggests.

Skunk2 is your best bet. They have technitians that used to work for Honda. Thats why the have the leading R&D department.

skunk2, I saw a guy put skunk2 cam, valve springs, and other stuff in the RSX-S. That is nice.

go with skunk2 pro-series cams and valve train. i run the pro-2 in my itr with spring, t- retainers, and cam gears and the car rides nice. try looking at performance center.com, they have some good prices.

S2000's have 11.1:1 compression and Skunk2 does not offer pro cams for the s2k.

I hate to bring this back from the dead but s2000 pistons are not weak, they are forged from the factory. And with an inlinepro 3mm headgasket it is not hard to get 500 horses out on factory bottom end. Sorry just wanted to clarify plus I love all motor!!!
