having had a 240 and a civic, the civic crowd has gotten quiet lately... the B series and now K series craze is alot calmer... and they aren't doin all those damn body kits anymore.. more toward the JDM movement IMO
but those damn 240 kids now a days are irritating as hell. i had one before the drifting thing happened... *thank god* and that are all like SR's FTMFW! OMG OMG i've got a SR its wayyyyy faster than any other car.... certain people like to believe that their car is hot shit and no car is better and any car without 400 hp or an intercooler the size of texas isn't cool. its pathetic to see the "drifters" fail and start ruining what COULD be a well done car

Honda Civic = School student's mode of basic transportation, roomy enough for 4 friends to ride in comfort, yet frugal on gas mileage.
Nissan 240SX = The matured school student's mode of transportation who needed transportation and had a sense of style and didn't need friends to ride with them to seem cool.
Civic = Most of the time outranked the competition with solid handling, gas mileage and quality. It is definately a car that you could give to your little sister because it's such a cute little chick car. Still is.
240SX = Well, just the opposite of the Civic, minus the reliability. It was half of the time out ranked by it's competition, got so so gas mileage and seating 2 people was it's limit. This is the car you'd give to your little brother and smack him around a few times and tell him to grab the steering wheel with both hands and drive the damn thing like a man. It was the car that was cool to be seen in by yourself and you didn't look as juvenile when in comparison to a civic.
240 > Civic any day of the week.

i like them both so... i have a civic, but if i had the time and money i'd have a clean, fast 240. Who cares if everyone else has one if that's what you like. EDIT: and you can make a civic handle as good as any car
My Civic handles like it is on rails (1.0x lateral Gs in race trim), but it is still gay. FWD is lame as hell.
I love my car, but I love RWD a whole lot, too.
