    Default Anybody ever dyed there carpet

    Sup all, My carpet in my car is messed up from the previous owner. Have any of you ever dyed your carpet? Im looking for some tips and tricks

    i tried on my 240 and it looked like crap

    clean the carpet really well and do like 5 different coats before you put it back in and it should be ok

    clean it really well, get all the soap/cleaner out of it, and then fold it up the best you can and put it in a big trash can, and pour a bunch of rit dye in it... mix with water, let it sit a few days

    Cleaning it with a degreaser and a pressure washer is a must if you plan on it looking ok.
