    Default 91 DA integra B16 swapped???

    whats a round about 1/4 mile time for these cars?? My cousin has one and talks so much shit about it but I've only rode in it once and of course it was slow because "oh my vtec isnt hooked up, my tranmission is messed up, i dont feel like going fast, 'insert another excuse here'" And no I'm not saying my car is fast or anything just wanting to know what he SHOULD run. It has a STS, intake and exhaust.

    probably 15-16's, they have no torque so u gotta rev the shit outta them to get them moving

    my brother had a bone stock 92 Gs-R (B17a1) with H/E/I ran 15.4 at Commerce. SO i guess b16 would be around the same, depending on driver skills.

    i ran one in my protege back when it had a 4yl in it, and it was kind of slow... i even got away from him on the hwy.. where that topend is supposed to shine...but it didnt..

    I had a b16 in my 92 gsr had intake and full exhaust, and it was tuned, b16 lsd tranny as well.. it was fun to drive, but i wouldn't of called it fast.. it felt like it would of ran a 15.2

    oh wait, it's in a 1991, that means he has a OBD0 b16, he's doomed, that car is slow especially if it's having problems..

    Dont know if its true but i hear baby gsrs(b17) suck. I dont know if its true ive never seen one. But everyone that i kno that seen one said, They were slow even if you fix em. They said a b16 with the same mods will be faster, but i thought the baby gsr should be like in between gsr and b16 somone fill me in.

    Yeah the time I rode in it, it felt like my SOHC would beat it. He's supossed to be fixing it this week so maybe I'll race him, If I get beat its okay, my car is super slow, plus it wont be by much.

    ask bigdare if a b16 is slow as to the b17 they are super slow not even worth being called a gsr imo just a b16 with a stroker kit on it lol.

    b16 in hatch (EF/EG/EK) is okay.
    b16 in a DA is not worth the swap. I bet he's still using the LS tranny. If so, everytime he shifts he gets out of Vtec. Once you fall out of vtec, it's no coming back LOL

    B16 In a teg is worthless unless you boost or Nitrous , But why not just use a LS , I think he is all talk an no go my $0.02 cents

    I have a b16 91 teg and i fuck with gsr anyday.
    I have a xsi b16 in my teg with jdm y1 lsd trans. It aint no slow poke

    Back on topic now, a b16 is a worthless swap in a DA except if your motor is blown up. Yes you gain hp but you lose that need displacement that hondas are lacking. Best bang for your buck is keeping your b18a/b and turboing it rather than doing a Xsi swap.

    Hey now D16 CRX's can be fast! And I rode in a B16 DA once that was pretty damn quick as well.
