you can get R34s just not with titles, or its VERY hard to get a title
expect to pay $50-80000 depending on what model it is
i know where an R34 is for $50,000
Do it yourself through Batfa.
They have three 2000 GTR's for $56,800ea.
And anyone who says they cost more is clearly wrong.
do they come with titles? if not, they cost more to be LEGALIZEDQuote:

You're way off. Unless you have a 94 R32GTR the motor is very different in the R33. The R34's even from Motorex aren't really legal but the government let them slide since they were already done and there was only 12 of them. Everyone else can only register them in a few ways while some are closer to legal than others none of them are truly "legal." In Ga its easy to register one and you have many options but other states aren't so leniant. The same guy who legalized our R32 GTR and our S15 has a sick white R34 with quite a bit already on the car for sale if you are really interested. From my dealings many people want a skyline but have neither the knowledge or the funds to actually own one. The cars are greatly over rated and are a pain in the ass in the long term. I've dealt with the for years and they aren't what all the fan boys make them out to be. You can get better performance for less money and still have a factory warranty. The fact that you have no idea what happened to Motorex and think they were ever fast on delivery shows that you have no idea what you are doing or getting in to. Do some more research and find out what you are really dealing with and then you will find who knows about the cars and who can get you one properly.Quote:

Fact.
Motorex is closed.
Shouri is closed.
You CAN get legal cars in the states.
You CAN legalize cars that you bring in.
Skylines are so 2 years ago now though that it's not even worth the hassle. Sure they are cool but so is an Asian hooker and neither of them are ever going to be quite right and you will always run the risk of getting burnt. 50k for a used car? Rofl, i'll get a Ferrari or a mad modded 930 Turbo. WAY more pussy flies at a Porsche or a Ferrari than a Skyline I can assure you.
You want an R33, my brothers got one right now, 15 grand. Want a true S-15? He's got one of those too.
As for the guy who says it's legal to import them into Canada. AWESOME....now get them to the US and get them legalized and then, and only then will your retarded response even remotely fit into this conversation.
So yourself a favor, buy something already over here that is left hand drive. Because short of going through drive thru's in reverse and attempting to look cool at a car show, you aren't getting anything spectacular.
This thread should have been titled. "Hi, i'm a huge dumbass, take my money after I talk through my ass about cars I have no clue about"

There are indeed ways to be exempt from those requirements but normally only under a temporary visa and the vehicle can not be sold or change owners in any way. Would the Feds come down on a single car owner, highly doubtful. If a business were to sell multiple cars in the US then highly likely. I have seen photos of mint condition R34's being crushed.Quote:

There's a clause in the Canadian import laws that says any vehicle 15 years or older is legal for import regardless of anything else so that's what people are doing. and the R33s just became legal this year though it'll be another 2 years before the GTR makes its way in there since they introduced the GTx version 2 years prior to the GTR for that generation. Try looking into that and see if there's anything similar here.

i was a big R34 fan for a long time.
And that black one that was posted on here with the black and red wheels is SICK.
but id NEVER pay $70-80000 for one. Id rather own a Porsche 911
Didn't know that. They're actually trying to change it to 25 years there as well, might just be a few years away. But there's also more cars on the RIV list for Canada, we're not allowed to have any EVO where here you can.'Quote:

Ionno, when that black R34 GT-R rolled into the Varsity quite a few people dropped their pants to it. If it would have fit in the exhaust I would have hit it. :tongue:Quote:
