CTR ITR Cams... are these Legit?
Well, i saw these on ebay and I couldn't help to wonder if they are real ITR cams because they went for around $150.... i've seen them go for like $280 USED, and these and brand spanging new...... just seemed too good to be true.
So you tell me. Too good to be true, or hell of a deal? and dont just say one or the other, explain youself!

It says in the box FROM HONDA in the title, so how could they be aftermarket...?

Fake. No way BRAND NEW ITR Cams go for $150. Think about it. You say USED ones go for $280, now why would someone sell some BRAND NEW ones under the price of the USED ones?

unless you see the part number stamped on the camshafts or printed on the box I would not believe it.

I don't understand why the guy even took a pic of the end of 2 boxes with handwritten "ITR" on them. It proves nothing! It is like I buy a knock off clutch and put in a blank box, and write Exedy outside. What is he trying to say? Everybody could do that. ITR outside the box means nothing.

It says ITR on the box, they must be legit.

from the end of the cams, it's real, after all, buy it now was 350, he probably goofed by starting at a low bid, without putting a reserve, but i know. they are real deal.
thats what i'm hoping... but idk man, he had then up for sale 2 times before, 500 buy it now, and 400 buy it now...
and then he put it for $350 buy it now for this auction, but starting bid was $100.... just seems weird that only 3 people will bid on them...
well, w/e. my dad bought them, so i guess we'll see if they're real or not, lol. He has nothing but posotive feedback, so i dont think he would try to scam anyone.

yea, got em for my dad's B16.
So i guess in a week or two i'll know for sure if they're real ITR's or fake.

Get them, take pics and measure the them...if they're not to spec send them back.
yea, thats what we went off of. the description. and he said they are brand new from honda, which means they cant be any aftermarket shit, or he's full of shit.
and he's got like 98% feedback, so that means he's trustworthy.
just be careful because I have seen ppl buy cams on ebay(i.e. OBX) and they eat your valvetrain for lunch after 3k or so....
Like who? I always hear this and I have never met one person that has had this happen to them, I have put these cams in 2 motors and both made great power and have been running for over 2 years.

but these are supposed to be real ITR cams....and if they are then they wolnt hurt anything. if they're not, then he sold me the wrong shit.
