Default so im tryin to get back into it again

well im tryin to get back into the whole car thing again. i kinda bowed out for a while just really wasnt interested for a while. now i kinda got my interst sparked. Only problem when it comes to money is that im livin on my own now so parts will come sparing like. THAT and the fact that my car has about 185k on it doesnt really help me do that much stuff to my engine. but what you guys think i should start back with as far as mods on my teg. I already got intake, exhaust, lowering springs. I gotta keep it low cost but good quality things and clean parts. whats a goo thing to get!

    what do want?

    more power?
    better handling?
    looks?

if u want power for low cost, you could get a new header, mild EMS tuning, high performance radiator, or try to find some ITR internals but those will be more costly.

if u want better handling, get some ebay strut bars, and some Tokico shocks.

if u would rather look good, get some used rotas, maybe some wheel spacers, tint

hm....i know you most likely wont wanna hear THIS....BUT...if ur gonna mod ur car, maybe you should try to trade and get something a little bit younger....i mean....no matter what mods you do, you still have a car with 180,000+ miles on it, and either way, it might not last you as long as you'd like it to once you start modding it. It happened to me, i wanted to start gettin into cars but i only had an old toyota 'rolla with 200,000+ miles on it....I had an exhaust, and wheels, but almost as soon as i started building the car, the upgrades pretty much all went to waste, because the car basically died not even a full month later. But, now i've got a car thats got a little less than 80,000 miles on it and im happily upgrading it!

Hope i wasn't sounding too negative about your car's age..

start with a header and nice exhaust system. Nice extra gain, looks fairly nice under the hood. Maybe a Type R lip or another brand of front lip.

it's obvious that you dont race, so don't go all out with the motor. Just some extras that will help hp and gas mileage. It'll be noisy, but removal of the cat is a good gain plus MPG. Change your wheels out (if those r urs in the pic). Keep it clean with a little extra pwr. I also agree with JDM up there, get some ebay strut bars. Paint them black or whatever if u dont like the color. It'll look nice.
