Honestly... you'll get them both low-end, but as soon as you hit about 4th or 5th gear, they are going to start walking you. IF YOUR STOCK!

idk about the 02-03 maxima's...6spd, 260hp 260tq, pretty nasty cars
power to weight ratio, and a good driver is all it takes. As far as those 2.5/3.5 altimas-maximas, those aren't as fast as you think they are, dusted 2 of them in my gsr at the sunday meet in southside a few weeks ago.Originally Posted by BenefitX

my friend has an 06 3.5 altima that he "claims" is stock but its actually pretty quick. he outruns a srt4 thats runnin around 30psi

The new type-s are sick so I'm not sure about that. But the maxima would be easier. As long as you're driving it well.

Remember, gas is still climbing. I dont like puttin $28 to fill up my CRX I doubt u wanna put almost $60 in it to fill up an Maxima. I'd stick wit the teg anyway. Even if its just a tad slower. Unless of course u or ur parents are just wealthy like that. (UNlike me)
the new tl-s run mid 14's with a good driver. they are pretty quick for a factory vehicle. i think they look good too. they are a good choice. i think the 02 tl's run mid 15's or something.
I highly dought it bro unless you build it and gut the car out.
