    Default whinning noise

i have a gsr swap in my 96 civic and i dont have the top timing belt cover on there and i have whinning noise coming from that side. is that normal? and is the tension pully that the a/c belt goes on on a gsr differant from a b16a?

could be that your timing belt is too tight too, and the cover is cut.

Like he said, check your timing belt. If it is too tight it will cause the water pump to wine. Later
