^^^ Totally agree mods for the g35 and 350z are extremely expensive . So buy one knowing that you will be happy with it keeping it stock for a long time . Otherwise you might end up in serious debt trying to mod them . Trust me this comes from a 350z owner .

RX-8 would suck down in GA during winter time. All my friends have told me alot of RX-8 owners in colder climate get fucked for some reason. IT either stalls or doesnt start at all.

i like my Z, its a good daily, it fast enough to get in and outa traffic, handles well, has enough space. its a well balanced car. i dont know if you plan on modding or just enjoying it how it sits right off the boat but it get expensive to get reliable power either was you go NA or boost. i enjoy it and its a good car for now, but when i graduate ill get my power car, the other Z.

you want a fast Z or G35? for cheap.

price of car (used) 21-26,000 good condition 04/05

    1. Nitrous kit($700)
    2. 2 step colder plugs ($11 x 6)
    3. AEM UEGO ($235)
    4. Intake (150) custom 3'' exhaust (single and eliminate cats) ($400)

100 Shot (wet), no tunning needed pretty damn reliable 360WHPish 400WTQish G35/350z whenever you need it.

    Is the formula for success?

Jk sounds about right. I saw some at the track same setup. With slicks running 12.00 flats.

Overall, i love my G35. Has the power of a Z, and the comfort of a M35/M45(but in a coupe). The prices aren't so bad for what the car is. I'm only 22 and I bought mine over a year ago. Its all about how hard you work for it. Modding the car isn't a must, the car is powerful from the showroom floor. If some of you think these cars are slow, i suggest you drive one for a while, then tell me what you think. Plus, if you haven't, you guys should see how these cars are designed, they're beautiful.

the g35 and 350s are all over the place, and, for a good reason. People really like it. It's must also mean that they are reliable. But the thing about it is, its EVERYWHERE!!! i love my S because when i park my car, i know that the chances of there being another S aroung me is going to be slim. so if i had to pick, id get the 8, only because its not like an epidemic, and its not a bad car.

everyone insists on saying the rx-8 is slow, but its actually quicker than the FD. stock v. stock, thats great to have a reworked na version of the same motor minus the twins and put out the same amount of power. if u see a modified g35/350/Rx8 parked next to each other.. which one will get the most attention...

A stock FD is faster than a stock RX-8. I've driven both extensively. The RX-8 is a very well-built car though, and has lots of potential - it's just most people go the wrong route on them.

i stand corrected, i just saw some 1/4 mile times that the 8 was .2 seconds quicker than the fd. But i guess not...

Ive been driving one for a year and 9months now.....its slow...lol. Not really, but when people say to me, "man, i bet that thing flys", all I can really say is, "its not bad". There are plenty of cars out there that are quicker, but Im sure there are even more that are slower.

I own a G35, so obviously thats what I would pick in the poll even though its over. I was gonna get a Z, but I just liked the way the G looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. The Z is pretty pimp, but the G is straight up BALLER SON! I talked to a guy that had an RX8 and he was selling it because even after turboing the car, it didnt make very good power (he didnt do it, but he had friends that did it). If you want just performance, get the Z. If you want to have your cake and eat it too (sport and luxury) get the G.

You obviously dont know your shit when it comes to E36s. The E36 M3 is one of the best "driver's cars" ever made. They also have much more potential than an E46 when it comes to track day. Show me some successfully turbo'd E46 M3s. Ive got a video of an E36 M3 making a Ferrari 360 modena look stupid. It would take more money to make an E46 do that than it would an E36.

Prior ownership obligates me to vote for the 8, but G35 coupes are drool inducing.

True enough the 8 is not as fast as the z especially from a dig, but after running with a z on the highway in my, he could not pull away from me. and as for the g35, that car is incredibly beautiful, i love them, but i pulled on one in my 8 on the highway and i'm n/a. lack of torque make our 8's suck in low end, but top end we're not bad.

hahahaha! your right about that. You say that you pulled away from a G on the HWY. I've never driven or ridden in an RX8, but youve got me curious. Would you like to make a friendly run sometime?

The new Z's and G's are everywhere...kinda like the E36m's use to be everywhere. I voted G as I like my back seats when I need them.

lol i did. its still slow! in fact, last night, i was cruising down the hwy at about 55-60 m.m.o.b. when a silver z tries to do a ricer flyby. he passes me, i pop it in 3rd, by now he's about 5-6 cars ahead of me. by 110 i'm back at his bumper and still pulling hard... i shut down at 120 cause i dont know where cops sit (i'm in maryland btw). so yes, they're still slow.

(disclaimer: the ricer z was stock i'm assuming. i'm fully aware that there are some modded z's that would give me an ass whoopin.)
